2019 Fort Worth Auto Show

Back in December 2012, I attended the Fort Worth Auto Show. I was brand new to the plug-in vehicle world, having gotten my first Chevy Volt the previous August and our second Volt in September. I was so excited about seeing Fisker Karmas. Remember them? I was surprised that there were no spokespersons, trained to discuss the plug-in vehicles and that the vehicles were interspersed among other offerings, of their respective manufacturers.

2019 is going to be different. For the first time, the Auto Show will feature EVs in an area they’ve dubbed “Electric Avenue.” Sound familiar? 😉

Classic Chevrolet is supplying a Bolt EV for the show as well as a spokesperson, well-versed in EVs (me, duh). I’ll be there for the entire show, EVangelizing. If you’re attending please stop by and say hi!

About the author

An accidental EVangelist: On my way to work at Apple one morning, my car was rear-ended (and totaled) by an SUV, driven by a guy playing with his smartphone.
This led me to get my first plug-in vehicle.
I started blogging about my experiences immediately.
A year later, in 2013, I was hired by the dealership as their "EVangelist."
I became a board member with the Texas Electric Transportation Resources Alliance (www.TxETRA.org) and perform public speaking in the DFW area regarding electric vehicles and environmental issues.
I also teach others how to sell plug-in vehicles or manage EV sales.
I'm on a mission.
