BIG NEWS: The 2022 North Texas Auto Show

The President of the North Texas Auto Dealer Association just let me know that the Ford F-150 Lightning will be at their auto show in Dallas.

No biggie. The Houston Auto Show had one on stage. You couldn’t get inside or even touch it. Except: AT THE DALLAS SHOW, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET A RIDE IN IT!!!

The header photo lists the other EVs, from which you could catch a ride (but not drive, due to liability issues).

You may want to consider coming to Dallas around March 17-20. If you do, I’ll be working the EV drive area Friday through Sunday, in one of these outfits. Stop by and say hi!

Two personas: The Funslinger & The EVangelist

About the author

An accidental EVangelist: On my way to work at Apple one morning, my car was rear-ended (and totaled) by an SUV, driven by a guy playing with his smartphone.
This led me to get my first plug-in vehicle.
I started blogging about my experiences immediately.
A year later, in 2013, I was hired by the dealership as their "EVangelist."
I became a board member with the Texas Electric Transportation Resources Alliance (www.TxETRA.org) and perform public speaking in the DFW area regarding electric vehicles and environmental issues.
I also teach others how to sell plug-in vehicles or manage EV sales.
I'm on a mission.
