"Get out."

Obsession defined, Part II

<<SPOILER ALERT>> If you have not seen “Terminator: Dark Fate,” you may not want to read further…

About 2-1/2 years ago, I wrote a blog post entitled, “Obsession defined.” I was watching the movie, “The World’s End,” and noticed the car the protagonists were hiding behind, was a Vauxhall Ampera, the European version of the Chevy Volt.

Tonight, I was rented “Terminator: Dark Fate.” In the very last scene of the movie, Sarah Connor is in a Jeep (just like she was in the last scene of the very first “Terminator”), moving away from the camera, into an uncertain future. This time, there’s a new twist: THERE’S A FREAKING 1ST GEN CHEVY VOLT, TO THE RIGHT OF THE JEEP!!!

There’s something very right about this…and perhaps, very wrong with me.

I am obsessed. It’s haunting, like the memory of your first love…

Don’t cut this guy off in traffic…

About the author

An accidental EVangelist: On my way to work at Apple one morning, my car was rear-ended (and totaled) by an SUV, driven by a guy playing with his smartphone.
This led me to get my first plug-in vehicle.
I started blogging about my experiences immediately.
A year later, in 2013, I was hired by the dealership as their "EVangelist."
I became a board member with the Texas Electric Transportation Resources Alliance (www.TxETRA.org) and perform public speaking in the DFW area regarding electric vehicles and environmental issues.
I also teach others how to sell plug-in vehicles or manage EV sales.
I'm on a mission.
