Well I’ll be…

BlogToday, I received a text message from Kevin Reese, (214-688-8692) the salesperson from whom we leased both our Volts. He said a person came in and asked for him specifically and that they had heard about him and Classic Chevrolet through my blog.

As a blogger, you throw these words out into the world but don’t know if anyone is listening. In the early going, you just do it. If it is a cause that is also a mission for you (like environmentalism and electric vehicles is for me) you just keep going, hoping that you’re making a difference.

Thank you to the purchaser, whoever you are. I’d love to hear about your experience!

Thank you for letting Kevin know that my blog took you to him. I feel like I made a bit of a difference in the world and this will keep me going a while longer. Since you bought or leased at Classic Chevrolet, I assume you’re in this area. I’m also trying to get a DFW Volt owner’s club going to help spread the word even farther. If you’re on Facebook, our DFW Chevy Volt Owners Group is growing very, very slowly. Come on in!

Don’t forget to apply for the free level 2 charger. Read all about it and the program here.

Finally, welcome to Chevy Volt ownership. You are going to love this!blogging-color-small

About the author

An accidental EVangelist: On my way to work at Apple one morning, my car was rear-ended (and totaled) by an SUV, driven by a guy playing with his smartphone.
This led me to get my first plug-in vehicle.
I started blogging about my experiences immediately.
A year later, in 2013, I was hired by the dealership as their "EVangelist."
I became a board member with the Texas Electric Transportation Resources Alliance (www.TxETRA.org) and perform public speaking in the DFW area regarding electric vehicles and environmental issues.
I also teach others how to sell plug-in vehicles or manage EV sales.
I'm on a mission.
