For more detailed options information, see my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theev-angelist.com\/?p=3659\">earlier blog post<\/a>. As announced by General Motors, the entry-level Bolt EV, the “LT” trim level, will start at $37,495, including destination charge, keeping Mary Barra’s promise that the Bolt would be priced “below $30,000, after income tax credit.” Of course, some people will\u00a0not qualify for the entire tax credit. The upper trim level “Premier starts at $41,780, including destination charge (or $34,280 after tax credit).<\/p>\n<p>The Volt has a price advantage over the Bolt EV, even though its hybrid nature makes it a more complex vehicle. However, the Volt hybrid and Bolt EV are not really competitors, but are complimentary, in Chevrolet’s lineup.
